This weeks homework

Hey guys, this is what you will need to do this week for homework:

Design your first feature opener spread

-Just the opening spread this week (thats one left and one right page)

-No body copy on your openers. Just images, headline, subhead, byline, etc.

-Work on MANY versions, and bring them to class. There is no exact number, but I would say 15-20 different versions is a good start. The variations can be minor (i.e. just switching the placement of the type slightly, or playing with different fonts, etc) or they can be more significant (i.e. using different images, completely different layouts, etc). Keep working on this assignment until you have many versions that you would be happy to show.

-Refer to your SPD Annuals for inspiration
