Final Assignment
Finish everything you have designed so far. (Some of you were missing either the contents or the end page, so work on those.)
Go through every spread and tweak every detail.
Check your text type font, size, leading. Make sure it follows the same formula throughout the magazine.
It's time to nail the little details such as folio line, rubrics, captions, credit lines...
Make sure your type combinations are working well.
Check that your department headline, subhead, bylines are following the same formula. (The typefaces of these elements, their sizes and the spacing between the elements should follow the same formula.)
Make your pull-quotes as exiting as possible. (Think of them as images.)
If you are using an info graphic or a timeline somewhere in your magazine think of the hierarchy of the information and use your type skills wisely.
Post everything on your blogs in advance, so you'll have the time to redesign if need be.
Print your magazines to size in color to quality paper stock and bound.
