New Stuff to look at

Hey here are some links from the stuff I showed you yesterday to look at.

m/m paris (they do the Bjork stuff; very experimental)

Remember to look at magazines that you like and also begin to mock up your departments, and features.

*Please, bring all your layouts to every class so that we can see how each magazine is developing.

*Please, be on time for the field trips. These art directors are busy and are doing us a favor.

*For reference please purchase and study the Society of Publication Designers (SPD) Annuals and Ellen Lupton's Thinking with Type both available at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, the Strand, etc.
* Please, post all your layouts on your blogs.

Other Valuable Resources Include: The Type Directors Club annuals, the Art Directors Club annuals, GQ, Esquire, The New York Times Style magazine, Details, Portfolio and Martha Stewart Living and Kids magazines among others.
Get them! Study the typographic specifics.
