Do the same feature opener you did last week. Do a lot of versions.
Pay attention to the typography, layout, color and scale change,
choice of image.
Think about the concept of your mag, what is the article about and
how to tell that story in your opener spread in an interesting way.
Print them on regular paper, then choose layouts you like the best
and print those on good paper stock and bring all to class.
