TheGridSystem.org is literally the ultimate resource in grid systems. Launced in November 2008 and edited by Antonio Carusone, the ever-growing site is full of links, useful PDFs, templates about grid systems, the golden ratio and baseline grids.

Type.fwis.com is a playground for typographic experiments by Fwis--a New York based design firm. They will try and post a new typeface every day for free for the month of January, 2009. The typefaces are provided free and "as-is" for your personal or corporate use. All they want in return is to let them know how you used their typefaces.
